LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (June 8, 2005) Yankee Hill Brick & Tile will begin manufacturing bricks in a new, highly automated, 85,000 square foot facility tomorrow. The innovative investments Yankee Hill Brick has made will increase their production capacity from 22 million bricks to over 40 million bricks annually.
Yankee Hill Brick’s investment of over $15 million dollars modernized their production process. They are able to maintain employment numbers and have the potential to add up to 24 new jobs as they transition from outdated to more automated processes which will position the company for long term growth.
The new plant was built at their existing location at 3705 S. Coddington Avenue.
Yankee Hill Brick will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony tomorrow at 11:30 AM to mark the beginning of production in the new facility and thank employees for their efforts. Tours of the new plant will be available.

Yankee Hill Brick has been manufacturing bricks in Lincoln at its current site since the 1800s and currently employs 75 people. Its bricks are sold by distributors in 25 states and Canada.
